Refunds

Refunds are deposited directly into your credit card or bank account. This process may take up to 14 days. Refunds processing time frame will only commence from time of goods received. If returns are taken directly to a Soundtech store, the refund will only be processed immediately after a technician has evaluated and assessed the item to be in its original condition. Delivery costs will not be refunded if the order was sent with courier services.

Returns of online purchases

Product purchases made online may be returned or exchanged at any Soundtech branch subject to the submission of the original proof of purchase and that the merchandise is in its original packaging and condition. In line with the CPA, a handling fee up to 20% of the current value of the product may be charged when the product is not returned in its original condition and/or if the packaging is damaged or missing. Returns sent via courier must be sent at the customers own cost and will be assessed upon receipt in our technical department. All items carry a supplier warranty up to six months provided the item has not been physically damaged, broken or misused, blown or falls out of the standard warranty guidelines. Items that are damaged will not be refunded immediately and will undergo a full assessment before a conclusion can be reached. Any electronic item including TVs; car audio; home audio; computer components; radios and speakers found to be faulty will not be refunded until the product has undergone a full technical evaluation by the product suppliers. In the event that the product is found to be not faulty, you will be liable for all handling and shipping charges; for the collection and the re-delivery of the product to you. You will be liable if the goods are damaged or faulty as a result of misuse, abuse or negligence. The warranty does not cover rust or the effects of rust.

The warranty does not cover any defects caused by foreign objects /connection errors that are not part of the appliance, including but not limited to;

Failure by the customer or any other person to comply with the manufacturers’ instructions for installation, maintenance or use;

      1. The use of accessories which have not been approved by the manufacturer;
      2. The application and/or use of any incorrect or abnormal electrical or water supply to the product;
      3. Any defect in wiring or electrical connections which does not form part of the product at the time of the original purchase.
